CallEazy — virtual numbers, eSIM data and received verification codes
CallEazy provides three distinct telecom products from a single prepaid balance, available across 120+ countries.
Virtual phone numbers
A dialable phone number with no SIM card behind it. Calls and SMS travel over an internet connection you already have, so the number works on any device with data. Used to receive SMS and one-time passcodes, and to keep one reachable number across the countries you travel to. It needs an internet connection — it is the number, not the data.
eSIM data plans
A genuine cellular profile downloaded directly into your device, giving mobile data on local networks abroad without a plastic SIM. Installed by QR code before you travel, sold as data-only plans by country and duration, and run alongside your existing SIM so you avoid roaming charges from your home carrier. Because it is data-only, it does not include a phone number.
Received verification codes
Inbound SMS verification codes arrive on a virtual number you own, so an app or service can send a one-time passcode to it. This is receive-only: CallEazy does not currently offer outbound SMS.
How it works
- Create an account and verify your phone. No contract and no monthly fee.
- Top up your balance once; it covers numbers, eSIM data and messaging.
- Pick a local number, an eSIM plan for your destination, or run both together.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a virtual number and an eSIM?
A virtual number is a phone number with no SIM behind it; calls and texts travel over an internet connection you already have. An eSIM is a real cellular profile downloaded into your device, which provides the mobile data itself and usually has no number attached. They are close to opposites, and many people buy both.
Do I need to remove my current SIM?
No. An eSIM runs alongside the SIM already in your phone, so your existing number stays active while you use CallEazy data abroad.
Can I receive verification codes on a virtual number?
Usually yes. Some banks and services deliberately reject numbers not tied to a physical SIM, so delivery from every sender cannot be guaranteed.
